This year marks Malaysia’s 68th Independence Day—a moment to reflect on the nation’s journey and to celebrate the achievements and resilience of our people both at home and abroad. The Merdeka Awards & Charity Gala Dinner has become a signature event in South Australia, bringing together business leaders, government officials, students, and community members in honour of our shared heritage and future.
🌟 What to Expect:
🎙️ Brenton Ragless returns as our Master of Ceremonies, lending his warmth and charisma to lead us through the evening.
🎠Dr. Jason Leong, Netflix comedy star and international sensation, will headline the night with his sharp wit and unforgettable performance.
🏆 2025 Merdeka Awards will be presented to outstanding Malaysian students in South Australia who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and community spirit.
đź’› In the spirit of giving back, we will be raising funds in support of OzHarvest, helping to fight food insecurity and reduce food waste in our local community.
This event is not only a celebration of independence, but also a meaningful opportunity to connect, give back, and honour the ties that bind Australia and Malaysia. From inspiring speeches to world-class entertainment, every moment will be curated to reflect the vibrant spirit of Merdeka.
